Foodie Frenzie Had Our Tastebuds Tingling!

Last week’s event was one of the most fun meetups I’ve hosted yet! At our #foodie Frenzy, we all chowed down on grub from some of the best restaurants in Jersey City (and surrounding areas), and learned from our creative panel of chefs, restaurateurs, and business owners!

The always lively David Trotta of Whealth moderated the night, chatting with panelists about their origins, the role of technology in their business, and how they leverage their products to build community. I had a blast learning about how they all became part of the food/tech scene around Jersey City and the innovative work they’re doing to change the game.

Our panelists certainly kept the laughter going in the room with their hilarious stories of breaking into the foodie scene. I’d like to thank Paul Gerard, Rocco Ancarola, & Joseph Castelo of Antique Bar & Bakery, Djenaba Johnson-Jones of Hudson Kitchen, Nur-e Rahman of Korai Kitchen, Andrew Martino of Ghost Truck Kitchen, Cameron McCarthy of WeStock, and Christopher Buglisi & JD Recobs of Misunderstood Whiskey for joining us and sharing their insights with the audience.
