The sun was shining this week for our Summer Solar Happy Hour! It was a blast bringing the Jersey City Tech Meetup outdoors at beautiful Surf City to cover the solar industry. We welcomed #entrepreneurs, influencers, and professionals in the solar space for an insightful panel discussion, all while soaking in the sunrays ourselves!
A huge thanks to Benoy Thanjan of Reneu Energy for getting this rockstar panel together and being a pleasure to work with. Our solar panel, moderated by Suzanne Waters of Reneu Energy, consisted of Benoy, Steve Schwerd of Schwerd Consulting, LLC, Chris Grablutz of PV Pros, Inc., and Juan Truyol of Strata Solar, LLC. Each individual has an impressive and extensive background in the industry and stressed that no matter what industry you’re in, it’s important to start thinking about how you can be more efficient with your energy since the future is solar. Our engaged community had some vibrant questions for the speakers, ranging from the practicality of solar panel residential use, to getting cities/counties/states involved in the solar space on a macro level.
